Beauty Tool Atlas aims to correct material errors clearly and promptly. Readers, sources, brands, authors and reviewers may submit a correction request.
How to request a correction
Email info@beautytoolatlas.com with the article title or URL, the specific statement at issue, the reason you believe it is inaccurate and any reliable supporting source. Do not send sensitive personal or health information.
How requests are assessed
The editorial team checks the published wording, source record and relevant evidence. We may consult the author, the appropriate independent reviewer or an authoritative source. A brand or commercial relationship does not control the outcome.
What happens when a correction is required
We update the affected content and recheck related conclusions. When a change materially affects meaning, safety guidance, evidence assessment, rating or recommendation, the article will identify the date and substance of the correction. Minor spelling, formatting and non-substantive clarity edits may be made without a public correction note.
Disagreements and updates
A disagreement with an evidence-based conclusion does not by itself establish an error. New evidence may instead lead to a dated update and reassessment. Material changes made after independent review are returned for the level of re-review appropriate to the change.
Correction record
Material corrections will be listed on the affected article and, where useful to readers, in a central correction record. If no material corrections are listed, none has yet been recorded in that public register.
